This series of compositions is made primarily from sounds that I took from the very first sound product that I made. I had been toying with sound before but this was my first work that I made with the intention of making a creative sound production.
What I released was a cassette that I recorded just with a small radio and a crappy mic. There was no editing, only starting and stopping of the tape. The fact that there was something like a music label selling and swapping tapes I learned only later on.

I gave this tape as a birthday present to a dear friend who died a few years ago after which I got the tape back. I blew the dust from this tape and was immediately back to that tiny room where I recorded these sounds. The radio sounds illustrate the political and technological news of that time.

K2 with an approach that I've never heard before. None of the noise cutups that I've come to associate with the project rather we have a more synth based release. Side one has a creeping synth piece plodding along that really put me in the right headspace. Side two has a more MB-ish approach by having a wash of sound with aspects that peek through every now and again. Not as muddy as MB though, all the sounds are very distinct. This is another great release from this act! miredsounds
