I have been a great admirer of the works of Pierre Henry throughout my musical career. I have interviewed him (remotely) in 1995. Having no money and too shy to meet a man whose language I did not speak very well I proposed to write the questions by letter. I received a cassette tape with the answers spoken by Mr. Henry himself. It was in the French language but I think I managed to translate it. The interview was published in Vital Magazine and online at Hyperreal. It can still be read here media.hyperreal.org/zines/est/intervs/henry.html

Parts of the interview were included into a hommage composition that I offered Henry in 2001 and never released publicly. In 2016 I decided to elaborate the basic material for that composition ánd the quotes into a new suite. It was almost finished in July 2017, when Henry passed away. I decided to finish it up as fast as I could and offered it for release to the Scottish cassette label Soft Error.

This year I again took up the material for a re-release because Soft Error has closed shop and the album is no longer available.

PLEASE NOTE:
I have also converted the material into a live show. With a reel-to-reel recorder on stage plus modular granulation. It has been performed on November 27, 2022 at the Akouphene Festival in Geneve. Partly tracks from this album and partly live granulation of the material.
