At the beginning of this century I was deep into online labels. One that I liked very much was David Turgeon's Notype. David allowed me to contribute a small album to his catalogue.

Hemel is a track full of contrasts. I wanted to experiment with large dynamic changes and juxtapose bland, dark, filtered sounds against technicolor explosions.

I had to work with the mp3's that I downloaded from notype's archive site. So there are some slight warbles in the background. Let's say that adds to the atmosphere :D
