At the beginning of this century I was deep into online labels. One that I liked very much was David Turgeon's Notype. David allowed me to contribute a small album to his catalogue.

One of the spin-offs of Notype was Sine Fiction. Sine Fiction brought imaginary soundtracks for sci fi books. Stalker was my favorite sci fi movie and also the original book intrigued me. The title of the book was quite different from Tarkovsky's title: roadside picnice. So, of course that became the album title.

For this remaster I had to work with the mp3's that I downloaded from notype's archive site. So there are some slight warbles in the background. Let's say that adds to the atmosphere :D
